THE DETAILS BEHIND THE GAME

Your privacy, clearly explained.

Game progress and preferences stay in your browser. This app has no account, payment, advertising or analytics integrations. You can use the game, Solver and Hints without submitting personal information.

What is saved locally

The game stores current rounds, typed letters, attempts, assistance, timer settings and completed-set statistics. The hints workspace stores your five clues and reveal choices. Theme and challenge preferences are also saved locally. These records do not automatically sync between browsers or devices.

What a shared link contains

Game links identify the dataset version, set or puzzle, and challenge variant. Solver links contain the clue, colors and dictionary choice. Hints links contain up to five clues and colors, without your revealed letters or answers. Anyone who receives a link can read those parameters.

Clipboard and sharing

Copy and share actions run only when you select them. If the browser blocks clipboard or native sharing, the result appears in a text box so you can copy it yourself.

Removing your progress

Use your browser’s site-data settings to remove local records for this site. Clearing them erases saved games, hint workspaces, settings and local statistics. It does not delete copies of links or results that you already shared.

Hosting and external links

A hosting provider can receive standard request metadata when serving a deployed website. External source links have their own privacy practices. Opening a mail link uses your email app. The local build does not establish that a contact mailbox or production hosting has been configured.
